ARRIVAL

Students are required to arrive and depart with street clothing over their dance wear.

Ballet shoes are for the classroom only. PLEASE reframe from wearing ballet shoes outdoors.

During colder weather, students may wear leg warmers and sweaters over their dance wear.

Your assistance and cooperation will relieve confusion in our small reception area.
POSITIVELY no shorts or colored tights, outside of the above listed, is allowed.

GROOMING for GIRLS
Hair must be pulled back away from the face and off the neck. A bun, ponytail and head band are acceptable.

ATTENDANCE

Prompt, regular attendance--as a courtesy to fellow students and to the instructor--is obligatory. The classes are intended for a sequential development of the body and erratic attendance may expose the student to injury.

If an absence is necessary, please inform the school in advance.
CONDUCT

A pleasing and friendly environment is desired for all students. Students are expected to display good manners and appropriate behavior at all times. Disciplinary action may be warranted at times. If a student regularly disrupts a class, the student may be asked to leave the school.

No food, drinks, or smoking are allowed in the classroom area.

CLASS PROMPTNESS

It is important to the student's progress that he or she be prepared to dance on time. Students should arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their class.

It is imperative that students be retrieved promptly following their class.

For the student's safety and protection, I require them to wait INSIDE the studio for their parents.
