A one day workshop for the beginning adult student who is curious about the techniques of watercolor, and the student who has a basic knowledge of watercolor and wants to continue learning a new watercolor technique.
In the workshop the student will be learning to use pigment, color theory, value of color, texture, perspective, wet-into-wet, glazing, composition, and design. Our subject will be florals.
I will be demonstrating to the student the layout of the color palette, technique development of a picture and how color tracks through the painting creating light, medium, and dark values. Learning the difference between transparent, sedentary, and opaque paints.
A series of classes will follow the workshop. Workshop fee includes supplies provided, or you may bring your own supplies.
